After my SPM result came out , i felt up side down because i did not reach my target. i felt so lost because i don't know where to go with my result. then my aunt give a suggestion to apply KPTM. I do a few research about KPTM. After thinking rationally. i think KPTM is the best choice for me plus they have offered the course i like.
After a few weeks, KPTM admission result came out. I feel so happy because i have been accepted to study at KPTM Ipoh. I can futher my study with a course that i like, Management with Multimedia. But I feel so sad because i have to leave my family and my friends. I need to be more independent and i have to spend my money well.
The day I've been waiting has come. 17 July 2017 my tittle turn back into student. Today I'm going to register myself and be a student at KPTM Ipoh. I woke up early and get ready to go to collage for registration. ths is my first time came to KPTM Ipoh. Before registration, staff of KPTM Ipoh give short briefing about course, fees, and activities during induction. After short briefing, i went to registration counter, registrated subject and they gave class, hostel counter at block B level 1 and go to the college stationary shop counter to take induction package. Then, after finished register, my family bring me to Rapat Setia hostel. When arrived there, I take out all my stuff from car and find my dorm. At the same time i feel so sad because never leave parents for along time. I sort of personal things into my locker and meet new friends and also my dormmate. We have some conversation and introduce ourself at each other.
Second day at here, orientation start. In the morning, we waiting for the bus to go to collage for induction programme. When arrived at collage, the facilitator give short breafing about rules and facilitator introduce themselves. Then, they asking us to having some breakfast. After breakfast we gather at collage hall at level 4. In induction we have an activities that call 'ice breaking'. From the activities we getting know many friends from other district. After that, facilitator give number to each students for make a group by following the number. we also playing a game and do a performance.
On the next day, we gather at Dewan Rapat Setia at 7:30 am. We having a breakfast first. After breakfast we take five, then we warming up. We play game that given by facilitator. when we play the game we learn something from it, we need to give fully cooperation to our group. At night after Maghrib prayers, we have a guest, Ustaz Munawir from Jabatan Agama Islam Perak. After that, facilitator give us some motivated about parents, studied, attitude and how to take care of ourself. Some of us crying because felt so touched from the motivated. On the last day of orientation, we gather for some breafing from a director of KPTM about HEP, hostel, library, fees and cocuriculum.
In the end of the induction programme, we learn that we have to give fully cooperation and work together with each other, respect to each other, learn how to make relationship getting closer and how to make friend with new people.
